Summary
Review of 19 RCTs (n=7,459) investigating multiple retinal conditions found that vision gain was not significantly different between bevacizumab, ranibizumab and aflibercept, except for diabetic macular oedema, where aflibercept was superior at 12 months but not 24 months.

The conditions investigated were choroidal neovascular age-related macular degeneration, diabetic macular oedema, macular oedema due to retinal vein occlusion and myopic choroidal neovascularisation. Rates of systemic serious harms were similar across agents.
