Low (0.3–1 mg/kg) and mini (≤0.3 mg/kg).doses of succinylcholine are both effective in reducing the first attempt laryngeal mask airway insertion failure rate, with the respective pooled RRs of 0.05 (95% CI 0.02 to 0.10; p<0.05) and 0.13 (95% CI 0.08 to 0.23; p<0.01) for fixed effect model; and 0.07 (95% CI 0.004 to 1.11; p=0.0596) and 0.17 (95% CI 0.10 to 0.31; p<0.0001) for random effect model.
