Endovascular Therapy for Stroke Due to Basilar-Artery Occlusion

RCT (n=300) found endovascular therapy (ET) and medical therapy did not differ significantly with respect to a favourable functional outcome (44.2 vs. 37.7%; risk ratio, 1.18; 95% CI, 0.92-1.50), but researchers note a benefit of ET cannot be excluded, as reflected by wide CI.
