Enrollment of Older Patients, Women, and Racial/Ethnic Minority Groups in Contemporary Acute Coronary Syndrome Clinical Trials: A Systematic Review

Review of 460 acute coronary syndrome trials (n=1,067,520) found that enrollment of older patients has modestly increased over time (from 62.3 years in 2001-2006 to 64 years in 2013-2018), but enrolment of women has not, and <25% of trials reported race/ethnicity of patients.
