Epidemiology of drug‐related deaths in European hospitals: A systematic review and meta‐analysis of observational studies

Review (6 studies) found drug‐related deaths occurrence rates were 7.3% among deceased inpatients and 0.13% among hospitalised pts. Most common ADRs related to death were haemorrhages due to antithrombotics (39%) and infections in drug‐immunosuppressed pts (27.5%).
