EU executive signs deal with Gilead for COVID-19 treatment remdesivir (Veklury)

The European Union’s executive has signed a contract worth 63 million euros with Gilead for remdesivir that would cover 30,000 patients with severe COVID-19 symptoms in member states and the UK from early August.
