Euglycaemic diabetic ketoacidosis in a 43-year-old woman with type 2 diabetes mellitus on SGLT-2 inhibitor (empagliflozin)

This case report describes occurrence of euglycaemic diabetic ketoacidosis in a 43-year-old woman with type 2 diabetes who had started empagliflozin 2 months prior. The potentially misleading clinical presentation can result in delayed diagnosis and severe adverse outcomes.
