European Medicines Agency (EMA) gives advice on the use of non-steroidal anti-inflammatories for COVID-19

The EMA has announced that there is currently no scientific evidence establishing a link between ibuprofen and worsening of COVID‑19. The EMA is monitoring the situation closely and will review any new information that becomes available on this issue in context of the pandemic.

SPS commentary:

The Chief Medical Director in England had also issued a letter previously advising patients who have confirmed COVID19 or believe they have COVID19 should be advised to use paracetamol in preference to NSAIDs.
