Guidance for schools, colleges and local authorities on maintaining educational provision

Schools across the UK will close on Friday 20 March for the foreseeable future. Those in England are however being asked to continue to provide care for the children of key workers, if they cannot be cared for safely at home, and those who are vulnerable

SPS commentary:

The Department of Education has published a list of the critical sectors and the key principles that should be followed. It stresses that children should be at home if it is at all possible, to limit the chance of the virus spreading.
