HCV micro-elimination in individuals with HIV in the Netherlands 4 years after universal access to direct-acting antivirals: a retrospective cohort study
Study (n=23 590) found that in the MSM with HIV population, the incidence of hepatitis C infection reduced from 55.6 per 1000 person years in 2015 to 11.4 in 2019. Authors link this reduction to the unrestricted access to direct-acting antivirals since 2015.
