Health System Costs of Treating Latent Tuberculosis Infection With Four Months of Rifampin Versus Nine Months of Isoniazid in Different Settings

Cost comparison of 612 adults & 829 children (with risk factors for developing tuberculosis warranting treatment) across high, middle & low income countries found that a 4-month rifampin (rifampicin) regimen was safer and less expensive than 9 months of isoniazid in all settings.
