Helicobacter pylori eradication for the prevention of gastric neoplasia

Review (7 RCTs; n=8323) found H. pylori eradication therapy was superior to controls in preventing development of subsequent gastric cancer in healthy asymptomatic infected Asians but data could not be extrapolated to other populations (RR 0.54: 95% CI, 0.40 to 0.72).
