Helicobacter pylori eradication therapy to prevent gastric cancer: systematic review and meta-analysis

Review of 10 RCTs noted moderate evidence to suggest H. pylori eradication therapy reduces incidence of gastric cancer (RR 0.54; 95% CI 0.40-0.72), and associated mortality (0.61; 0.40-0.92) in healthy patients in East Asian countries, but did not affect all-cause mortality.
