Hepatitis C in England 2020

Estimates suggest around 89,000 people had chronic HCV infection in 2019, a fall of around 30% since 2015. The WHO target to reduce HCV-related mortality by 10% by 2020 has been exceeded, suggesting increased treatment provision with direct-acting antivirals is having an impact.
