Home delivery of medicines and appliances during the COVID-19 outbreak service expanded to include people instructed to self-isolate

This letter advises that the Community Pharmacy Home Delivery Service and the Dispensing Doctor Home Delivery Service will be commissioned from 16 March 2021 to 30 June 2021 (inclusive) for anyone living in England who has been notified by Test and Trace to self-isolate.

SPS commentary:

The service specifications and guidance on the Community Pharmacy Home Delivery Service during the COVID-19 outbreak has also been updated. Payments for the Pandemic Delivery Service will increase from up to £20.11 per day to £37.34.
