Human papilloma virus vaccination in males: A pharmacovigilance study on the Vaccine Adverse Event Reporting System

Review of adverse effects reported in the US found, although generally well tolerated, there were 5493 reports of adverse events. Syncope (OR 2.85), loss of consciousness (2.79) and fall (3.54) were more frequent with HPV vaccines than with other vaccines in males.
