Immediate action required for Phase 3 booster vaccinations
Following publication of Joint Committee on Vaccination and Immunisation (JCVI) advice on booster vaccinations, this letter sets out the actions that need to be taken immediately to begin administration of these third doses.

The NHS vaccination programme is inviting eligible people, who have had their second COVID dose at least six months ago, for a top up. People do not need to contact the NHS to arrange their booster vaccine; they will be contacted in due course.
