Immediate‐release methylphenidate for attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) in adults

Review (10 trials; n=497) found no certain evidence that immediate‐release methylphenidate compared with placebo or lithium can reduce symptoms of ADHD in adults and patients were at increased risk of GI and metabolic‐related harms compared with placebo.
