Immunosuppressive agents for treating IgA nephropathy

Moderate certainty evidence (58 RCTs; n=3933) supports use of corticosteroid therapy for preventing decline in GFR or doubling of serum creatinine in adults and children with IgA nephropathy and proteinuria. Evidence for other immunosuppressive agents is sparse or low‐quality.
