Impact of delays on effectiveness of contact tracing strategies for COVID-19: a modelling study

Study found minimising testing delay had large impact on reducing transmissions. Optimising testing and tracing coverage and minimising tracing delays with app-based technology, further enhanced contact tracing effectiveness, with potential to prevent up to 80% of transmissions.
