Inhaled nitric oxide for treating pain crises in people with sickle cell disease

This review (3 studies; n=188) found there is currently insufficient evidence to determine benefits and harms of using inhaled nitric oxide to treat vaso-occlusive crises in people with sickle cell disease. Larger, long-term trials are needed to provide more robust data.
