Intakes of Folate, Vitamin B6, and Vitamin B12 in Relation to Diabetes Incidence Among American Young Adults: A 30-Year Follow-up Study

Cohort study (n=4,704; 655 cases of diabetes) reported intake of folate, but not vitamin B6 or B12, was inversely associated with diabetes incidence after adjustment for potential confounders (HRs for quintiles 2–5 vs lowest quintile were 0.85, 0.78, 0.82 and 0.70 ptrend = 0.02).
