L-Thyroxine Therapy for Older Adults With Subclinical Hypothyroidism and Hypothyroid Symptoms: Secondary Analysis of a Randomized Trial
Post hoc analysis of subclinical hypothyroidism treatment trial (132 patients with high symptom burden) found that levothyroxine did not improve hypothyroid symptom scores or tiredness scores to a greater extent than placebo in that subpopulation.
