Lifetime risks, life expectancy and healthcare expenditures for rheumatoid arthritis-A nationwide cohort followed from 2003 to 2016

Taiwanese study (29,352 new cases of rheumatoid arthritis during 2003-2016) found patients with this condition suffered from an average 4.97 years loss of life expectancy, with loss of life expectancy likely affecting females more than males.
