Long COVID patients to get help at more than 60 clinics

NHS England has announced patients suffering with the long-term symptoms of Covid-19 can now access specialist help at 69 sites across the country. This comes as NICE publishes guidance on best practice for recognising, investigating and rehabilitating patients with long Covid.

The NICE guideline covers identifying, assessing and managing long-term effects of COVID-19 (‘long COVID’). It includes recommendations about care in all settings for those who have new or ongoing symptoms 4 weeks or more after the start of acute COVID-19, and advice on organising services.
