Lower versus Traditional Treatment Threshold for Neonatal Hypoglycemia

RCT (n=689) found that in otherwise healthy newborns (≥35 weeks of gestation) with asymptomatic moderate hypoglycaemia, a lower glucose treatment threshold (36mg/dl) was non-inferior to a traditional threshold (47mg/dl) with regard to psychomotor development at 18 months.
