Management of Kidney Stones in 2020

Review notes previously, renal colic was commonly managed with opioids, and they are still necessary for severe pain. However, there is renewed interest in nonopioid analgesics. IV fluids are needed if volume depletion is present, but fluids do not facilitate stone passage.
