Manufacturers report efficacy and safety for Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine in adolescents

In a trial (2,260 people 12-15 years), there were 18 cases of COVID-19 for placebo vs 0 for the vaccine, resulting in 100% efficacy for COVID-19 prevention. The vaccine was reported to be well tolerated with side effects in line with those aged 16 to 25 in the adult trial.
