Methylphenidate and mortality in children with attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder: population-based cohort study

Study (n=68,096, Taiwan) reports methylphenidate was associated with significantly lower all-cause mortality (adjusted hazard ratio: 0.81, 95% CI 0.67–0.98, p=0.027) vs. no methylphenidate for attention-deficit hyperactivity group, but unmeasured confounding cannot be excluded.
