MHRA to publish results of four-year review into safety of over-the-counter (OTC) stimulant laxatives

The class review, which began in September 2016, and expected to be published in next few months, was started in response to concerns about the potential for abuse and misuse of OTC stimulant laxatives, particularly among people with eating disorders.
