Negative pressure wound therapy for surgical wounds healing by primary closure

Updated review (44 RCTs; n=7447) found people experiencing primary wound closure of their surgical wound and treated prophylactically with this intervention following surgery probably experience fewer surgical site infections than people treated with standard dressings.
