NIHR alert: The weekly break from dialysis is harmful to patients with kidney failure

Expert commentary discusses a cohort study which analysed 3.8 million dialysis sessions and found pts who went 4 days without dialysis had twice the risk of hospital admission or fatality vs 3 days. This raises issues with scheduling and highlights dangers of missed sessions.
