Non-communicable disease, sociodemographic factors, and risk of death from infection: a UK Biobank observational cohort study

Study (n=493,295) notes people with some non-communicable diseases (together with multimorbidity, smoking, and socioeconomic deprivation) are at particularly increased risk of infection death, and strategies to discern and address the underlying mechanisms should be developed.
