Nortriptyline for pain in knee osteoarthritis: a double-blind randomised controlled trial in New Zealand general practice
RCT (n=205) found no difference between nortriptyline vs placebo for WOMAC pain subscale score at week 14. Differences in secondary outcomes generally favoured nortiptyline, but were unlikely to be clinically relevant. Adverse effects were more common with nortriptyline.
