Optimizing the Trade-off Between Learning and Doing in a Pandemic

This Viewpoint discusses the tensions between evaluating treatments (learning) and treating patients (doing) during the COVID19 pandemic, and proposes actions the research and practice communities can take to support each other’s imperatives so that both can “learn from doing”.
