Oxandrolone for growth hormone‐treated girls aged up to 18 years with Turner syndrome

This review of 6 trials (n=498) found the addition of oxandrolone to growth hormone therapy led to a modest increase in final adult height (mean difference of 2.7cm; 95% CI 1.3-4.1cm; p<0.001). Adverse effects included virilising effects (e.g. deepening of voice).
