Paediatric contraindication for chloramphenicol eye drops

The eye drops are no longer licensed for children under 2 years. Eye drops contain boron, in form of borax and boric acid, which may impair children's future fertility. Though eye ointment does not contain boron, some products are also contraindicated in this age group
