Pfizer signs deal to manufacture Gilead's remdesivir for COVID-19

Pfizer is among the latest companies to sign a deal to manufacture remdesivir. To date over 40 companies have signed up to manufacture the drug, to increase capacity and supply. Britain’s Hikma Pharmaceuticals has also started manufacture at its Portugal plant.
