Pharmacy first’ minor ailments scheme covering 14 London boroughs to close at end of March 2020

The scheme offers consultations to patients with minor ailments and appropriate free OTC medicines to those who do not pay prescription charges. The pharmacy minister stated it “has been replaced by the nationally commissioned NHS community pharmacist consultation service”.
