Physical activity, cardiorespiratory fitness, and cardiovascular outcomes in individuals with atrial fibrillation: the HUNT study

Review of 1117 patients from the HUNT3 study found those meeting physical activity guidelines had a lower risk of all-cause mortality (HR 0.54, 95% CI 0.34–0.86) vs inactive patients. Each 1-metabolic equivalent task has a 12% lower risk of all-cause mortality.
