Plasma ACE2 and risk of death or cardiometabolic diseases: a case-cohort analysis

Global study (n=10,753) found increased concentration of plasma angiotensin-converting enzyme 2 was associated with increased risk of total deaths (HR 1.35 per 1 SD increase [95% CI 1.29–1.43]) with similar increases in cardiovascular and non-cardiovascular deaths.
