Polypill with or without Aspirin in Persons without Cardiovascular Disease

RCT (n=5713) found polypill (40mg simvastatin, 100mg atenolol, 25 mg hydrochlorothiazide, 10mg ramipril) plus aspirin led to lower incidence of CV events vs placebo among participants wihout CVD at intermediate CV risk (4.1% vs. 5.8%, respectively; HR 0.69; CI, 0.50 to 0.97).
