Potentially inappropriate medication use and related hospital admissions in aged care residents: The impact of dementia

Secondary analysis of prospective cohort study (n=181, South Australia) found >80% of acutely admitted older adults took potentially inappropriate medication (PIM) at hospital admission & discharge, and for over a quarter of these people, admissions were attributable to PIM use.
