Potentially inappropriate prescribing in people with chronic kidney disease: cross-sectional analysis of a large population cohort

In this large primary care-based study (n=28,489), potentially inappropriate prescribing was widespread at all stages of CKD, with 3.9% of people with CKD stages 3a-5 prescribed ≥1 contraindicated drug, 24.3% a potentially high risk drug, and 15.2% a dose inappropriate drug.
