Potentially inappropriate primary care prescribing in people with chronic kidney disease: a cross-sectional analysis of a large population cohort

Study (n=28,489) found 3.9% of patients with CKD stages 3a-5 were prescribed a drug contraindicated in renal impairment, and 15.2% a drug at an inappropriate dose for their level of renal function. Authors highlight interventions to improve prescribing safety are needed.
