Prenatal administration of progestogens for preventing spontaneous preterm birth in women with a multiple pregnancy

Review (16 trials, n=4548) found that for women with a multiple pregnancy, the administration of progesterone (either IM or vaginal) does not appear to be associated with a reduction in risk of preterm birth or improved neonatal outcomes compared to placebo or no treatment.
