Prescription medications for sleep disturbances among midlife women during 2 years of follow-up: a SWAN retrospective cohort study
Retrospective cohort study in US (n=238 on sleep medications [SMs] matched to 447 non-users) suggests those on SMs rated their sleep disturbances similar after 1 and 2 years, as compared with non-users, suggesting effectiveness of long-term treatment should be re-examined.
