Prevalence and Predictors of Potentially Inappropriate Prescribing in Middle-Aged Adults: Repeated Cross-Sectional Study

Analysis of London primary care data found prevalence of potentially inappropriate prescribing in adults 45-64 yrs was 18% in 2019; most commonly use of ≥2 drugs from same class (7.6%), use of NSAIDs >3 months (7%) and PPI above recommended maintenance doses for >8 weeks (3%).
