Prevalence and variability of current depressive disorder in 27 European countries: a population-based study
Study (n=258,888) found a prevalence of depressive disorder of 6.38% ranging from 2.58% to 10.33% amongst the countries investigated. Prevalence was higher in women that men across almost all countries (average 7.74% vs 4.89%).
