Prevalence of symptoms of anxiety and depression in patients with inflammatory bowel disease : a systematic review and meta-analysis
Review (77 studies; n=30 118) identified a high prevalence of symptoms of anxiety and depression in patients with IBD (32.1% and 25.2%, respectively) with higher prevalence in those with active vs inactive disease (57.6% vs 38.1% for anxiety; 38.9% vs 24.2% for depression).
